The Big-Order & Multi-Buy Playbook
Buying a single piece and buying a whole season's worth call for completely different tactics. On a big Vuori cart, the instinct to grab the largest percentage code is often the wrong one — tiered multi-buy offers and two-for bundles tend to pull ahead as the cart grows. This is the playbook for ordering at scale.
Why bundles win as the cart grows
A percentage code takes the same slice off whatever the total is. A tiered multi-buy does the opposite: it gets more generous the more you add, so its effective discount climbs while a flat percentage stays put. Cross a certain cart size and the tier simply overtakes the code. For a season's worth of joggers, tees and shorts, that crossover usually arrives well before you've finished filling the bag.
Map the offers before you fill the cart
Start by listing what's available for a big order: the two-for bundles, the tiered 'more off as you add more' deals, the free-gift thresholds, and the dollar-off-over-X codes. The dollar-off codes deserve special attention here, because on a large cart a flat $50-or-$80-off code can rival a percentage — and it won't drag you under the free-shipping line the way a deep percentage might.
Build the cart in layers
- Anchor on a bundle or tier. Slot your pieces into the deepest multi-buy that fits — two-for sets where they apply, the tiered deal for everything else.
- Clear free shipping automatically. A big cart almost always clears the threshold, so shipping should already be free; just confirm it stayed free after any code.
- Add one code only where it helps. If some pieces are full price and excluded from the bundle, a dollar-off-over-X code can mop those up. One code per order, remember.
- Collect the gift tiers. Large carts trip the free-tote and free-bottle thresholds on their own — let them attach.
- Finish with points. Apply banked Vuori Pro points last to trim the final few dollars.
Split the order? Sometimes.
Occasionally two smaller orders beat one giant cart — for instance, if a one-time welcome code or a first-app-order perk only applies once, using it on a focused cart and bundling the rest separately can win. But splitting also risks dropping one order under the free-shipping line, so only do it when a one-time perk clearly outweighs the lost shipping. Run both versions through the calculator before you decide.
A worked big-order example
Say you're buying eight pieces. You slot six into a tiered multi-buy that lands a meaningful percentage as the count climbs, leaving two full-price items the tier doesn't cover. You add a '$45 off over $220' code to handle those two, which the big subtotal easily clears. Free shipping is automatic, a free tote attaches at the gift threshold, and points come off at the end. No percentage code alone would have matched that stack — the bundle did the heavy lifting and the dollar-off code cleaned up the edges.
The one number to watch
Through all of it, keep one eye on the running total and the shipping row. Big carts have more moving parts, which means more chances for a later step to undo an earlier one. Confirm free shipping survived your code, confirm the gift tiers attached, and confirm the final total beats the simple 'one big percentage code' version before you pay.
